The guide was excellent; a native of Venice and an excellent communicator in English. She really brought St. Mark's Basilica to life. I wouldn't have understood what I was looking at had I just visited on my own. The same with Venice as a whole. I wish the boat ride had been in an open (not covered) boat.

The tour was very good. The guide was extremely knowledgeable! I would have liked to go a bit slower in some places to see more. But overall a great tour!
