VENICE IN 1 DAY TOUR (combination of two tours in one)

Best of Venice Walk with St. Mark's Basilica and Pala D'Oro
During this Venice Walking tour, you'll learn the history of Venice from its origins to the modern-day. Visit St. Mark's Square, where you'll learn the history that lies behind the walls of its famous landmarks, the Doges Palace (only exterior) and St. Mark's Basilica (interior visit). Then we leave the square and our journey continues with a walk through the Hidden Venice. The tour will finish in St. Mark's Square area.

Grand Canal Boat Tour
Limited to a maximum of 8/9 people, during this boat tour of Venice Grand Canal and minor canals, you'll learn the history about the stunning palaces, churches, and other important buildings that line its banks, while being entertained by stories and anecdotes of some important people that lived in these palaces.

DOLOMITE MOUNTAINS TOUR

On our small group tour of the Dolomites enjoy a memorable day exploring Cortina and the Dolomite mountains. During the day we make numerous stops at scenic viewpoints, walk around lakes, visit the home town of the famous Renaissance painter Titian, spend some time in Cortina and enjoy a walk on a level terrain up amongst the soaring peaks of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, from where you can enjoy a splendid view over this majestic range of mountains.

The beauty of the Dolomites is in their diversity. Throughout the day, as we make frequent photo-stops, it will feel as if you have travelled from one mountain range to another such is the stark variation in scenery. During your day, you'll be able to see glaciers in distance, soaring peaks, emerald green lakes surrounded by forests of pine and larch with reflections of the mountains mirrored on their calm waters, and typical Tyrollean villages clinging to the mountains.

At Tre Cime di Lavaredo, at an altitude of 2,360m (7,500 ft), you'll enjoy one of the best views of the mountains, where you can gaze out across a myriad of peaks and valleys as far as the eye can see. Here you can enjoy an optional short walk along an easy trail beneath the towering peaks to admire neighbouring peaks of the Sesto region and the deep verdant valleys several thousand feet below.

Our tour includes also the visit of the cosmopolitan Cortina and a delightful alpine village that was the birthplace of Titian. After a fulfilling day spent in the Dolomites, sit back and relax as we return back to Venice through the ever-changing scenery of the mountains illuminated by the late afternoon sun.

WINTER SEASON ITINERARY (from mid-November to end of March)

Dolomites Day Tour in the winter months
Enjoy the traditional San Candido Christmas Market from the last week of November until January 6th

From November 15th until March 31st, join the Dolomites Day tour from Venice to visit Cortina, where you’ll have free time to walk around its busy city center and peruse the many shops of this famous Dolomites town.

Then we’ll make our way to the picturesque Braies Lake, known as “the Pearl among the Dolomites lakes”. It’s set in the beautiful Val Pusteria Valley and considered to be one of the most beautiful South Tyrolean lakes. Here, you’ll have the opportunity for an easy walk or to enjoy the beautiful sight from one of the coffee shops by the lake while sipping a hot chocolate.

Next, we’ll head to San Candido, one of the most beautiful South Tyrolean villages in the Dolomites. The focus is on its pedestrian zone with its many colorful shops and the hustle and bustle of people. You can stroll around and taste local specialities like speck, local cheeses, the mouth-watering Canederli dumpling—a traditional first-course recipe handed down from one generation to another—and for the sweet tooths; the delicious Strudel cake.

From the end of November until January 6th, you’ll experience San Candido Christmas Market. All the stand are located in the pedestrian area, surrounded by Christmas decoration. You’ll be captured by its cosy and magical atmosphere.
