Tour Overview Tour Overview

The appeal of the Dolomites lies in their diversity. Unesco Heritage Site since 2009 the stunning mountain landscapes will enchant you every season. From spectacular vertical forms such as pinnacles and spires to the Alpine lakes and the Three Peaks of Lavaredo our self-guided or guided Dolomites bike tours will give you a perfect taste of what these mountains have to offer.

Whether you are an experienced MTB cyclist, a family with kids or an occasional e-bike enthusiast, everyone will find a suitable option for them in the Italian mountains. From late spring to early autumn enjoy a variety of landscapes and a perfect mix of Alpine peaks, lakes and woods. Explore Ampezzo Valley on our Cortina d’Ampezzo e-bike tour. This loop itinerary will start in Cortina where you will take the cable car to Faloria lodge. Enjoy a panoramic descent next to the ski slopes up to Rio Gere before reaching Malga Larieto and the larch forest. The difficulty grade is easy to medium and the trail is fun and enjoyable even if you are not an experienced cyclist. Explore the typical hamlets of Cadin di Dentro and Mortisa before reaching the Volpera woods and a well deserved stop at a local restaurant. Another option to consider can be an e-bike tour of the Dolomiti d’Ampezzo and Fanes-Senes-Braies Natural Parks or perhaps a historical itinerary following the events of World War I. For more experienced bikers, the Sellaronda Tour of the Four Mountain Passes awaits you. Roads and trails are closed to car traffic between June and September to allow cyclists to pedal in peace. You can cycle clockwise or counter clockwise, depending on how physically fit you are. The itinerary is feasible by MTB or bike and uses the Dolomiti Superski lifts. Explore the four valleys and the four passes of Passo Sella, Passo Pordoi, Passo Campolongo and Passo Gardena. A challenging but very rewarding experience!

All our bike tours in the Dolomites can be customized to suit your requirements. Easy and fun itineraries can be arranged for families with kids. Additional transfers can be booked from Cortina and surrounding areas to allow you to reach the departure point of the bike tour. From Dobbiaco to Cortina d’Ampezzo follow the magical cycling route to explore the Upper Val Pusteria. The route follows the old railway and passes by Lake Landro - a particularly picturesque spot where you can enjoy views of the famous Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Undoubtedly one of the most scenic routes in Italy, this itinerary will reward you with magnificent landscapes, thick forests and picture perfect locations. Another option worth considering is the Pusterbike cycle path located between Dobbiaco, Brunico and Bressanone, where you can enjoy stunning views of Val Pusteria valley. The path follows the Rienza river and can be subdivided into shorter stages, for example from Dobbiaco to Brunico only. Let’s not forget lake Braies - in just 2 hours of cycling uphill from Villabassa you can reach one of the most spectacular Alpine lakes in Italy. Fear not, e-bikes are available so that the uphill cycling to the lake won’t be a challenge. Our Dolomites bike tours can either be self-guided or they operate with English-speaking guides. Suitable bicycles and gear are included.

Dolomite tours and activities can include a side day tour from Venice, panoramic day trips from Cortina or another destination with English-speaking drivers and a comfortable minivan, winter activities like snowshoeing or tobogganing, easy hiking trips for kids, Vie Ferrate climbing and many more! With all our custom experiences we can organize additional transfers from Cortina or Venice (other destinations on request) to start our tours.
