- SMALL GROUP itineraries – for clients that don’t mind traveling on transfers and tours with a small group and who look for the least expensive option Including: a selection of our small group tours shared car / water-taxi transfers 1st class hi-speed train rail tickets hotel accommodation with breakfast in the least expensive hotels These itineraries are feasible based on arrival to Rome on specific dates only that we list directly online.
- TOURS & TRANSFERS itineraries – for clients that wish to arrange their accommodation themselves but look for assistance with tours and transfersIncluding: a selection of our small group toursprivate car / water-taxi transfers 1st class hi-speed train rail tickets To advise feasibility we need to receive travel dates first from the client as small group tours featured operate with a different schedule in low/middle/high season and since clients book their hotels independently we need to know the dates of stay in each location to advise when the tours are available.

Are prices published in the brochure applicable for any travel dates?
In the overwhelming majority of cases the prices are applicable for the periods stated on the brochures, but throughout the year there may be holiday surcharges, trade-shows and weekend supplements that may affect the final quote based on your own specific travel dates that is why it is essential to send us an enquiry first so that we can forward you an offer based on your precise requirements.
Also, beware that availability of rooms maybe difficult in May & June when several major trade-fairs are
held in Rome, Milan & Florence - we strongly recommend booking as much in advance as possible. The closer to the travel dates you book the less hotel choices are available so automatically prices may change considerably.

Why can't I book my package directly via your website?
Vacation packages' prices and feasibility depend on a series of details like travel dates, hotel type, number of people etc - hence it is necessary to contact us first to receive a quote and then book. Please note that hotel rates in Rome, Florence & Venice do not all have the same seasonality and some tours may not be feasible if your dates coincide with major religious or national holidays. When you contact our expert Sales Team we will suggest best options based on your budget and requirements. What is your booking procedure?
Usually clients contact us by email, after reviewing our vacation packages on-line. In the majority of cases clients want to purchase a particular package and are contacting us for the availability and price of a vacation package that they are interested in purchasing.
In these cases we respond with a formal proposal based on our clients request through which they can book the vacation package their interested in taking by simply filling out a contract/ booking form which will include a full day-by-day itinerary, prices & payment schedule and booking conditions. Normally within a 24-48 hour period we can confirm the availability of a vacation package for a set date. Booking hotels to guarantee availability of a particular package so that our clients can book their flights secure in the knowledge that everything is confirmed for their travel plans in Italy.
The step from the planning stage to the booking stage is a very simple one! Once you receive the contract from us it must be returned back to Avventure Bellissime either by fax at + 39 041 982434 or you can scan the contract and send it via e-mail directly to firstname.lastname@example.org
After receiving your signed contract we’ll take a deposit payment of 30% at the time of booking, and the balance 45-days or less before your arrival date in Italy. Travel documents & Train Tickets will be sent via email to you, 30-days prior to your arrival in Italy.

Can I purchase a customized package?
Some clients may contact us to express an interest in a particular package, but with a few modifications like extra nights or adding a sojourn in another city that’s not featured in the original package. All our vacation packages can be customized so that we can realize an incredible variety of diverse vacations including ones that are completely tailor-made.
Are the tours featured in the packages guaranteed to operate?
When you book one of our Italy vacation packages we guarantee that the vacation package will operate as scheduled. All vacation package departure dates are guaranteed to operate with 2 or more people booked on the package.
When will I receive my travel documents?
Vouchers, details of services and invoice will be sent via e-mail not later than 30 days prior to the date of first service. Please note that once issued train tickets & museum tickets are non-refundable & non-changeable.
What is the policy if I have to cancel?
- More than 60 Days : Only 100 Euro administrative fees per person
- From 60 to 30 Days : 20% of the total cost
- From 29 Days 15 Days : 30 % of the total cost
- From 15 to 7 Days : 50% of the total cost
- Less than 7 Days or no show :100% nonrefundable
Please note that tickets for the various attractions featured on this package are non-changeable / non-refundable.
What is an add-on?
An add-on is a trip component that is not included in your vacation. An add-on may be purchased for an additional price. Add-ons might include excursions or tours from your destination city, wine tastings, additional entrance tickets or transfers or other optional items.
Does the price include taxes?
Value-added tax ( VAT) is already included in the package price. Tourist tax applied in the majority of cities or tourist locations like Cinque Terre or Amalfi coast is not included and is payable directly at your accommodation upon check-in or check-out.
How much is the compulsory tourist tax?
The tax is applicable in the majority of Italian cities and tourist locations and is normally payable directly at your accommodation - these taxes vary from city to city and may periodically change depending on the time of your travel - generally the rates are as follows ( rate is per person per night):
Rome: 3-star hotel Euro 4,00 4-star hotel Euro 6,00 max 10 consecutive nights
Florence: 3-star hotel Euro 3,50 4-star hotel Euro 4,50 max 7 consecutive nights
Venice: 3-star hotel Euro 3,50 4-star hotel Euro 4,50 max 5 consecutive nights
Cinque Terre: 3-star hotel Euro 1,00 4-star hotel Euro 1,00 max 3 consecutive nights
Sorrento: 3-star hotel Euro 1,00 4-star hotel Euro 1,50 max 7 consecutive nights
Does your company offer Travel Insurance?
As we are based in Italy we are unable to include the insurance in our packages for clients coming from overseas as the costs would be substantial however we strongly recommend that you arrange travel insurance directly in your country to cover cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances or those beyond your and our control. Also we recommend a medical and personal insurance to cover medical expenses and loss of baggage or personal belonging.
What is your payment schedule?
We accept Visa or Mastercard credit cards as well as bank wires.
Be advised our prices don't include any bank commissions for international transactions - these depend entirely on your bank's terms and conditions!
We require a 30% deposit at the time of confirmation of this contract. The balance is due 45 days prior to date of the first service. For vacations booked within 45 days or less before travel full payment is taken at the time of booking.
What currency are you taking payment in?
Our tours are sold in Euro currency & credit cards will be charged in Euro currency.
How many luggage items can I carry?
The package prices are based on each passenger travelling with one standard size suitcase and one carry-on item. Additional fees may apply for additional luggage.
Avventure is not liable and do not authorize any refunds for any events which are caused as a result of acts of God, Governments, war hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil strife, industrial dispute, labor dispute, strike, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, theft, epidemics, quarantine, medical or customs regulations, technical or administrative problems with transport, closure of airports, breakdown of machinery, adverse weather conditions, water shortages or any other occurrences beyond our immediate control and which, despite all due care being taken, could not have been avoided.
In case of force majeure, Avventure Bellissime reserves the right, but makes no guarantees, to offer substitute services. If no substitute is available, or the substitutes offered are not accepted, Avventure Bellissime will not authorize any refunds. Avventure Bellissime strongly recommends to purchase a travel insurance.
Do I need a visa to travel to Italy?
Italy is a party to the Schengen Agreement.
Must be valid for at least three months beyond your planned date of departure from the Schengen area. (Six months recommended.)
TOURIST VISA REQUIRED:
Generally not required for stays under 90 days however for some countries different policy may apply so we recommend checking with your local Italian embassy.
Check also with your airline in case you have connecting flights overseas as part of your journey to Italy. It may be the case that countries you pass through en route to your destination may require a separate transit visa.
BLANK PASSPORT PAGES:
Most destinations, including Italy, require that you have adequate unused pages in your passport, allowing for any necessary stamps upon arrival and departure. We recommend that you have at least two free pages in Visas section of your passport before any international travel.

Most of our tours will not run on national holidays due to excessive crowds and confusion at the tourists locations as well as reduced ( if any) opening hours of museums, churches etc. When planning your holidays we recommend taking these dates into consideration.
It’s not compulsory in Italy and it is at your discretion if you decide to tip a guide or a driver. In restaurants waiters will be aware that foreigners are likely to tip more generously, but it is up to you how much you give. Occasionally in touristy restaurants, service ( coperto) will be added to the bill so check the menu in advance.
What is the difference between a twin-bedded room and a double-bedded room?
A double-bedded room is a room designed to accommodate two people and it has one double bed in the room. A twin-bedded room has two separate beds of any size.
What are the lazy hours in Italy?
Many Italian businesses and some tourist attractions close at lunchtime, especially in the central and southern part of the country. Churches are usually closed from noon until at least 3 pm. Especially in smaller towns, museums, tourist attractions and shops may follow a similar timetable. In the hotter months opening hours often change to allow for a longer lunchtime closure and extended evening opening hours - if you are visiting the south of Italy in the summer, don’t expect to do anything between midday and 4 pm other than eat and rest.
What are approximate costs of food in Italy?
0.5 l mineral water EUR 0.40 in a supermarket, EUR 1 – 1.50 if bought at a touristy spot or train stations
Cappuccino EUR 1.20 – 1.50 depending on in which bar you take it
Croissant EUR 1 – 1.50 depending where you buy – if a bakery or bar
Espresso EUR 1 – 1.30 depending on a bar
Sandwich with ham or cheese / toast EUR 3.50 – 5
Lunch/ dinner/supper – depends if you include first + main course and starters or just take one course – prices range from EUR 10 – 15 for touristic menu to EUR 35 -60 for full meal depending on what you order
Public transport tickets – look for local 24/48/72-hours passes – these are the most economic ones!
Rates range from 15 to 25 Euro per pass depending on which city you stay in
What is the best time to travel to Italy?
There is no simple reply to this as it depends what is most important for you - the weather, avoiding the crowds or saving money.
As far as the weather is concerned anytime between April and mid/late October is fine. Of course if you prefer to travel in the less hot months then late March, April May early June late September or October are recommended. If you like the sun and want to enjoy the summer then late June, July, August or early weeks of September are recommended. The weather is pretty unpredictable in recent years so there is no guarantee it won't rain at any time of the year.
If your main goal is to visit in peace and save money you should avoid peak season dates like May, June, first two weeks of July, September, early October. This is when the tourists attractions are the most crowded and hotels charge even 50% more for stays.
Is English widely spoken in Italy?
As tourism is an important aspect of the Italian economy, English is spoken throughout the major tourist areas. All our guides and office personnel are fluent in English. If you opt for more remote areas local people may speak limited if any English - in this case it is recommended to look for young people or students as English is now compulsory in Italian schools so they are more likely to understand and help you.
Do all your hotels have non-smoking rooms? Is air-conditioning included?
We work with selected hotels only which we visit and inspect personally. We chose only those that meet our standards and quality requirements. Unless specifically mentioned in our offer all the properties have AC and non-smoking rooms available. We recommend always including all your requirements when contacting us to book so that we can suggest options for your stay.
