Of course, spring time from March till mid May is best period to visit Italy, the days are longer and weather is milder however it is not always possible to plan a vacation when we want it ! For American visitors June and July are the preferred months to travel, even if they are the hottest months of the year, it’s actually low season for hotels during this period as the Italians flock to the beaches.

Also an e-mail is sent to your email address that you provided at the time of booking that will include your reservation number as part of a confirmation message. Our day tours operate with a minimum of 4 people, for this reason in the case the tour you have booked is not confirmed yet you will be provided with detailed instructions on your voucher in how to proceed and find out whether the tour is confirmed or not.

It makes much more sense to reserve via the internet. We cannot take reservations over the phone for tours in Rome, the only thing to do is either forward a booking form to you that you would need to fax to us to confirm the reservation.

We reserve entrance for our clients in advance. For this reason you don’t have to wait in the constantly long line to enter the museum! However being the Vatican one the most visited sites in the world with its 50.000 visitors a day, there might be a queue for the pre – reserved visitors. In any case waiting in this line will not take longer than 5/10 minutes, this is because the Vatican has also a security procedure through which all visitors have to go through and of course this slows down the access into the museums.

Yes! Remember all religious sites require a dress code. Shoulders and knees must be always covered , slippers type of shoes can be very comfortable especially if you are walking a lot however they are not the suitable footwear. Also large bags, rucksacks , glass bottles are not allowed.
Vatican museum is 1.5 kms long! Our tour lasts in total 4 hrs and features some of the most famous and important sections of the museum i.e. Greek and Roman sculpture , chandelier and maps rooms, the wonderful Raphael rooms, the famous and yet marvellous Sistine Chapel, the Pietà by Michelangelo, the Basilica and the tombs of the Popes.
No, wheelchair users need to reserve our Private version of the Vatican tour. Unfortunately some of the routes inside the museums are very narrow and there are also stairs to climb. Wheelchair users will follow inside the museum a different itinerary this is the reason why a private tour has to be arranged. Please remember when reserving to add a note on the additional info field that you are on wheelchair.

No there isn't as no religious site is featured on our Ancient walk however comfortable shoes and a hat during summer period are highly recommended.
Pick up is at the lobby of your hotel between 6.45am and 7.15am. It is important you provide us your hotel’s name and full address. Please make sure you are going on the right tour ! Ask for "Avventure Bellissime tour of Pompeii and Amalfi". There are tour companies who collect clients from the hotels without presenting themselves. Don't just get on the first bus that arrives the morning of your tour!
Before processing reservation we check where your hotel is located, and in case, it is situated outside the city centre we will send you an e-mail message with the cost of the additional cost for picking up at your hotel. Or in the case you prefer to join the group by your means we will provide instructions in where to meet the rest of the group.

If you plan to book one of our private tours allow at least 30 days to make arrangements. When booking at the last minute, we may have difficulty in finding guides available and entrance tickets and reservations to enter important sites without having to stand-in-line.
