On your private day tour of the Amalfi Coast & Pompeii,  we'll travel first to Ancient Pompeii* to explore the well-preserved ruins that date back to 80 B.C. Your local expert guide will bring to life the remains of Pompeii that will include many insights into how life was in Roman Times.

Your wal,king tour of Pompeii will include: visits to the interiors of the homes of Pompeii's wealthier citizens, Ancient street café's where locals dined and where you'll learn about traditional Roman cuisine, the amphitheatre where we'll talk of the Gladiators and the events staged in the arena. As well as enjoying numerous anecdotes about life in Pompeii that will include some of the Graffiti dating back to Roman times that are still visible throughout the ruins.

After learning the secrets of Ancient Pompeii your day tour of Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast will continue with your English-speaking driving you down to Positano where you can enjoy a  stroll around the narrow alleys of Positano- Positanoi boasts an unsurpassed position along the Amalfi coast where delightful white and pastel-coloured houses litter the hillside. Along with the beautiful beaches, its ancient fishing port, the splendid majolica dome of the church of Santa Maria Assunta and artisan shops, taste of the "Dolce Vita" of life on the Amalfi Coast.

After an optional  lunch at a recommended restaurant with superb views of Positano and the coastline**,you will continue your day tour of Pompeii & the Amalfi Coast following a scenic road which will bring you to the celebrated town of Amalfi.

The town of Amalfi, enjoyed a prestigious past when it once a major naval power. Made up of a labyrinth of narrow lanes and alleyways that climbs the surrounding hills, the town features typical mediterranean style architecture with houses piled one on top of the other. Here on your day tour of Pompeii & the Amalfi Coast as yoiu stroll through a labyrinth of meandering alleyways you can sample the local Lemoncella drink or perhaps visit the celebrated "Paradise Cloister" built in Arabian style that dates back to the thirteenth century.
