Enjoy a full day mountain-bike ride through the hill country that surrounds Florence, that features all the different terrains and landscapes that Tuscany has to offer in a 20 mile bike ride.

The tour starts from the historical centre of Florence following back-roads to climb up into the hill country. During the day there will be an elevation gain of 500m / 1600 ft, so we recommend that only experienced cyclists sign up for this tour. In other words, those who cycle on a regularly basis.

You will be cycling on high quality Italian made mountain bikes with 24 gears. At the time of the booking we require you to inform us of your height so that we can customize the settings of the bike before starting the tour.

The tour operates rain or shine and we suggest you bring along the following itmes to ensure a pleasant day cycling in the Florentine hills; wind-breaker , sports shoes, gloves, and a rain-jacket.

During the day we'll make frequent stops for photo-opportunities as the cycling route features a circular route through enchanting countryside that features vineyards, olive trees, castles, churches, farmhouses and villas.

Lunch will be taken at a typical Tuscan hill town where you can have a light snack or a meal at a local Trattoria.
