for you dockside at the prearranged time that you decide to start your shore excursion in Livorno. Your day will start with visit to the city of Pisa where you'll have time to admire and photograph the famous leaning tower of Pisa.
After a brief visit to Pisa you'll make your way to Florence to enjoy a five-hour tour of the must-see sights of the city.
In Florence, your driver will drive you right into the historical centre of the city where one of our expert local guides will be waiting to introduce you to the city. As you walk through the streets and piazzas of Florence we'll discuss the ideas of the Renaissance, the lives of many famous artists, the Medici family who showered Florence with countless masterpieces, and how life changed forever during this epic period of the history of Florence .
Ideal for the first time visitor, this tour includes the exteriors of Palazzo Strozzi, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza Signoria, Brunelleschi's Dome, Ghiberti's Gates of Paradise, and last but not least, the original marble statue of David housed in the Accademia museum of Florence .
After enjoying a pleasant walk around the city, you can enjoy free-time to go shopping and to take a relaxing lunch at a restaurant recommended by your guide
We guarantee no standing-in-line to enter the Accademia museum as we will pre-book entrance times through which you can get the most out of your time with our guide in the city of Florence. At the end of an informative and entertaining day your English speaking driver will return to you to Livorno to complete your shore excursion.
Optional Extra - Visit to the Uffizi
For those booking in advance, at least one-month, we can also include a tour of the Uffizi lasting two-hours with one of our expert guides. Cost available on request, but book early as currently the Uffizi is sold-out four or more weeks in advance.
