HALF-DAY WINE TOUR OF THE CHIANTI FROM FLORENCE  The wine region of the Chianti lies between the cities of Florence & Siena, and is ideally located for a half-day tour from Florence. Travelling with one of our local expert driver / guides enjoy a relaxing four-hour tour of the beautiful rolling hills of the Chianti wine region.
On this tour you will visit a celebrated vineyard of the Chianti where you will tour the facilities of the vineyard to gain a thorough understanding of the local wine making process. Then, enjoy a full wine-tasting of at least four different wines from the celebrated vineyard that you will visit. Following the visit to the vineyard, to give you a full taste of Tuscany and the Chianti wine region we will visit a charming hill town off-the-beaten track where we will enjoy a short walk to further indulge in the beauty and local charm of this celebrated wine region. Before heading back to Florence, we will pause at Greve in Chianti the principal town of the Chianti wine region. Your driver / guide will take you on a short tour of the town where you can take another optional wine tasting in an old wine cellar in the centre of town. |
