Valpolicella Wine Tour

meant to call you before we came home, but our time in Venice is like an acqua alta; we seem to have so much at first - almost more than we know what to do with and then suddenly, silently, magically it has vanished. Miriam was a delight, and all four of us enjoyed every minute of the wine tasting day with her. The two wineries had rather different approaches which made it extremely interesting, and the place we went to for lunch was fabulous. Brian is a tough cookie when it comes to wines; I always say he can tell if the gapes were picked with the left or right hand, and he had the time of his life. Sarah was also delighted. Martin and I both felt we learned a lot of really useful info; we are completely spoiled and will never be able to go back to a mezzo carafa of the house wine again. Many thanks. Buon estate!

Wine Tasting Evening Venice

The slight delay was not a problem as we had allowed plenty of time between our various activities. Thank you both for your attention during our ( too short) stay. Our party greatly enjoyed our walking guide and all the knowledge that he was able to share with us and at a perfect pace. The wine tasting evening was a huge success given that 2 of our party were not wine drinkers and your sommelier was excellent in her knowledge and very down to earth approach to what is sometimes a snobbish subject. She was huge fun and my sister had a simply memorable birthday as a result. Mary put the icing on the cake with her knowledge of the history of the grand canal and her little asides. A perfect way to end our visit to Venice.Thank you once again from our entire party and we will certainly tell our friends of your wonderful service and recommend you highly. Mille Grazie

Cutom 2-day tour of Veneto
