Civitavecchia Rome Shore Excursions

HI Jonathan and Monica! I want to send a long overdue Thank You for the incredible tour experience we had during our trip to the Med. We were cruising the first 2 weeks in October and you arranged tours for us in Venice, Naples, Rome and Florence. All of the guides were delightful...the drivers very professional, and, we were able to see a LOT during our short stay in each port. We only had a few minor glitches, and, I appreciate your help remedying them. I especially want to Thank your guide in Rome. She was amazing......we loved her passion, and, of course her adaptability to our late arrival that day. Everyone worked together to insure that our visit to Italy was fabulous. I Thank you again, and, look forward to booking future tours when we travel to Italy again in the near future! I have recommended you to all of our friends! Ciao!

Ancient Rome & Vatican Shore Excursion

We visited Rome on Thursday, Sept. 22. on an excursion from our cruise. We want to thank you for the wonderful day we had there. Our guide for the city tour was just excellent. She was so knowledgeable and we learned a great deal from her expertly done tour. It was a very memorable day for all six of us. We thank your tour company for the very professional service. Rome in a Day shore excursion

I just wanted to extend another thank you note on behalf of your driver. His honesty, fortitude and diligence was exemplary in helping me get to a private clinic for an MRI scan due to a head injury sustained while onboard our cruise ship. He fended off many people who wanted to hire him on the spot away from us but told them all he was reserved for me. He fended off a non-English speaking taxi driver hired by the cruise ship to take us to a Civitavecchia Hospital Emergency Room which would have taken at least eight hours and may have resulted in us being held overnight for observation and missing the rest of our cruise at additional expense. His first step was to call and arrange for a private clinic MRI head scan in Rome which only took two hours. Since my tests were OK we were then able to get lunch and your driver then acted as driver and tour guide and helped us see a couple of the major sites of Rome. Sometimes in life God sends an angel of mercy just when you need it, such was the case with your employee. We have also provided your companies name to another couple on the cruise who knew others who were coming to Rome and they’ll most likely be hiring a tour from you in the future. Please pass on our thanks to your driver.

Rome in a Day shore excursion

Now that we have experienced the kind of tours you offer, I have to add my praises to the other customer comments. The guides we had in Florence, Rome, and Naples were wonderful. They truly showed us a good time. They were all perfectly charming people as well. What a great opportunity to get to spend time with a local person who has all the inside information the average tourist lacks. Our Florence guides tiramisu recipe, Our Rome guides experience with kids (hers are the same age as ours), and Vinni’s willingness to discuss politics and the euro – all give you that personal experience of a place that is so often missing from a tour. All the guides were great with our kids as well. We also particularly enjoyed our first driver in Italy, Enrico. His English is very good, and he did a great job of giving us an overview of where we were and a sense of place as we drove, in the rain, from Livorno to Pisa and then Firenze. Thanks so much for a wonderful time in Italy! I would recommend your tours to anyone.

Tour of the Vatican

I would like to thank you for providing one of the best tour guides we ever had. My husband and I booked the Vatican tour on June 20th in the afternoon. Our guide was the BEST!! Her command of the English Language was great, and her knowledge was just amazing. We had a small group which enabled us to learn so much, and enjoy the experience of the Vatican Museum. Ancient Rome & Vatican Shore

We just returned from our cruise to the Mediterranean. I wanted to drop you a quite note to let you know that the three private tours we booked with you company were incredible. The drivers and guides were very knowledgeable and flexible. One of the reasons I chose your company is because you are a member of ASTA. I am on our local chapter board here in the United States. Vatican & Ancient Rome, 14th September, 2007

We have now returned from our exceptional trip to the Mediterranean region and I wanted to write you and thank Avventure Bellissme for arranging four fabulous days for our group in Florence, Rome, Amalfi / Pompeii and of course Venice. We all were very impressed by your professional guides and drivers and with the quality of their work. They were always ship side at the expected time and proved very adaptable and flexible in meeting the diverse needs of everyone in our group. Our fellow cruise ship travelers were very envious of the tour arrangements we had made!! I am amazed that you are able to get such gifted guides who understood what we wanted to achieve in the short visits we made to each city and were able to insure we had a memorable day in each port. Whether it was to answer an obscure or simple questions or make sure we had excellent refreshments throughout they day, they were there for us. So thank you again for taking such good care of us at our four Italian ports of call. Our only regret is that we didnt get to meet you in Venice....next time.
