Doges Palace Tour

Claudia and I booked tours with you last weekend and we were very happy with all of them. The gal who gave us the Doges’ Palace tour was especially good and her love of the building and emotions really came through sufficiently that we returned and bought a number of books and were quite moved by the experience. She’s a tremendous asset to you. I would like to especially mention our private tour of the Ghetto with Mordechaj. He probably had the impression that Claudia wasn’t enjoying the tour. I wasn’t sure myself and during the tour I only knew that she seemed to want to be somewhere else. As it turned out, she was simply exhausted and “ toured out” and it also wasn’t a subject that she particularly enjoyed and she wanted to get on finishing her shopping. I hope you will convey to Mordechaj that his tour was well received by me , that I would have stayed with him as long as he allowed, and that there was nothing wrong with his tour nor his accent at all. His knowledge and love of the area came through to me and I would readily book a tour with him again and recommend him to others. Its simply not fair to leave him with the impression that we didn’t enjoy the tour or tat he did anything wrong as that was not the case. Thanks for a super two days. That was all the time we had in Venice and we gave Tours Italy all of our two days and are glad we did

Hidden Venice Walk

My family and I just returned from a wonderful vacation in Venice. One of the highlights of our visit was the walking tour which we took that was sponsored by your company. The tour that we took was of the San Polo district and the Frari church. It was fantastic!!! The leader was wonderful and so knowledgable. Please thank her again for us. A quick note to tell you that I used your company in Florence and Venice. We found the guide in Florence to be outstanding. We did the Renaissance Walk and the Uffizi Museum and had her for both tours - she was great. Not only was she very informative about the history of the city but helpful with information on restuarants, shops. etc. In Venice we did the Original Venice Walk with another of your guides and again she was very informative had a great sense of humour and was candid about living in Venice. We also did the Grand Canal Tour which we thoroughly enjoyed. All the guides were very informative, well organized and made the tour very enjoyable. Unforunately we did not book in Rome but now better for the next trip

Venice Ghost Walk, 9th July, 2007

I just wanted to take the time to let you know how much my group enjoyed our tours. we had such a wonderful time. I also want to letyou know about two of your guides and how much we enjoyed them. For the ghost tour, we had Talia (not sure on her name spelling). She did such a wonderful job. She was animated and really brought the stories to life. Rita was the guide we had for the Dolomites and our private tour to Lake Guarda and Verona. She was magnificent. We had such a great time with her. We really felt like family after two times with her. I wish that I had booked another tour to go out with her. Our whole group loved her. She was also fabulous with our teenager who is going through those "teenage behaviors". She loved Rita too and lovedinteracting with her. If you can, please pass on our greetings and appreciation to Rita and Talia. If either want any further feed back, please feel free to tell them to contact me. If I get a chance to return to Italy, I will definitely book tours through you again. I will also tell anyone I know going to Italy to book tours with you.

Now that we are safely back on Christmas island , I just wanted to send a quick note of thanks for your excellent service and tours. It was unfortunate that we could only spare one day for Venice on our trip but by combing the walking tour and canal tour we feel we got to see the very best of what Venice has to offer. In particular I would like to say a big thank to your guide on the walking tour. She was absolutely fabulous and has a wonderful passion for her city. This is Kathy Clark - my group took two of your tours last week while we were in Venice. I just had to write and tell you how splendid they were and what a great time we all had. We did the Venice walking tour & canal ride with your guide and had a marvelous time. She was very knowledgeable and gracious. But, I think the highlight of our trip was the Hills of Veneto trip with Miriam. She was such fun and make the trip so memorable. If we had known how great the were going to be we would have booked another. We really felt like we in the real Italy when we were out in the beautiful hills sipping our prosecco and looking at villas and castles What an experience Thanks again - we will recommend you highly to friends. By the way - we sure wished that we had used you in Rome. Another couple in our group set up a pre-paid tour and they never showed up!

Original Venice Walk

I wanted to write your office and tell you how great your guides and greeters are. When we arrived in Venice on July 31, 2006 we checked into our hotel near the train station and jumped on the vaporetto to get to St. Marks Square as we were scheduled for the Original Venice Walking tour. Unfortunately we got onto the wrong vaporetto which took the long way around and made us late for the meeting point. While on the boat I called your office and let them know we were on our way and asked if there was anything they could do to help. Right away the office let me know they would have a greeter stay at the meeting point while the tour continued and we would be able to catch up with them if we weren’t too late. The greeter was waiting and we were able to catch up with the tour at the basilica. Thank you so much for going the extra mile for our family. We were only in Venice for 24 hours before we were off to Florence and then Rome and missing this tour would have been a bad way to start off our trip. Please thank your staff and tell them to keep up the great work. They all play a very important part in helping once in a lifetime vacation dreams come true.
