Tour of the Uffizi

My husband and I glided through the history of Florentine art at the Uffizi with your guide! She was spectacular in her presentation bringing life to both the artists and their work. I felt like I had the privilege of listening to an art historian, like I was in one of the finest university’s lecture series. her dramatic poise also increased the enlightened story telling! Our tour was on Saturday, Aug 28th. Thank you so much for both of the tours. We took the Highlights of Florence tour the Saturday before.

The Guide on the Original Renaissance Walking Tour was friendly and articulate and we saw parts of this beautiful city that we would not have found by ourselves. So much of the signifficance and historical context, even of the well known sights would have been missed without our guides enlightening explanations. Later, we took the Uffizi Walking Tour with another guide who also had a wonderful command of English and the tour was a truly enriching experience, that not only opened our eyes but our minds as well to these masterpieces.,

Original Renaiisance Walk & Uffizi Tour

My wife and I recently returned from a trip that included Venice and Florence. We took the Original Venice Walk, the Original Renaissance Walk (in Florence) and The Uffizi Tour (also in Florence, of course). The tours were all wonderful. But most importantly, we expecially enjoyed the guides that took us on these tours. Both ladies were very friendly, informative, energetic, passionate, and had very good English. Pls give them both a pat-on-the-back for fine jobs. We will use your tours again when we return and will recommend them to others. Keep up the good work!

Both guides were very interesting and we learnt so much about Florence, its people and its history and even about the origin of many English words and their meaning. We had orginally booked the tours because I was unable to get tickets direct from the Uffizi but am now so glad that we took the tours. I thought your audio aids were excellent - we did not have to strain to hear what the guide said and could take time to look at what the guides were describing. It was also great that we did not have to queue for hours to get into the museums. I will be certain to look up your web site when we go back to Italy again.

In April I did some tours with your companyand found your guides informative and interesting. Florence in 1 day on April 11 and The Vatican on April 13. A particular thank you to your office staff and the guide on April 13. My brother in law booked the Vatican tour for us before we left Australia. Unfortunately he booked us in for JULY 13 instead of APRIL 13! When we arrived we could not understand why we could not find your guide so we rang your office and only then discovered our mistake. The girl in the office was extremely helpful and understanding. She didn't waste time and immediately rang the guide inside who had just started the tour. She came out to pick us up to join the tour. This was fantastic service and John and I were thrilled with the tour and we were not treated like the idiots we were for making such a mistake. Thanks again from a very satisfied customer. By the way, if you still have a booking for 2 people under the name of John Zeffert for July 13? Please don't wait for us.

My family was in Italy in June. thanks to your wonderful agency we had a fantastic trip. We booked several of your tours and found them all to be very good. We did the Florence day tour on June 25th with katrina, the Uffizi that afternoon. Both of the tours were very informative and timely. the guides were most plesant and helpful. We would definetly recommend the tours. Our trip highlight had to be the day we went to the Cinqu Terre (june 27) Simone was our driver and guide. He was fabulous. He spoke wonderful English and was so accomodating. He added so much to what was already a wonderful day being in such a beautiful area of your country. Thank you again for adding to our trip!

We have to write to tell you that both guides were superb & clearly have a passion for their city, its history and culture. How they maintain the enthusiasm day after day we do not know. A quick note to tell you that I used your company in Florence and Venice. We found the guide in Florence to be outstanding. We did the Renaissance Walk and the Uffizi Museum and had her for both tours - she was great. Not only was she very informative about the history of the city but helpful with information on restuarants, shops. etc. In Venice we did the Original Venice Walk with another of your guides and again she was very informative had a great sense of humour and was candid about living in Venice. We also did the Grand Canal Tour which we thoroughly enjoyed. All the guides were very informative, well organized and made the tour very enjoyable. Unforunately we did not book in Rome but now better for the next trip

Took the Florence in a day tour last week and wanted to let you know that my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed both parts. Never having studied world or art history, we learned so much from Antonella who was a superb guide. She was very engaging and we loved her injection of humor as well.
